WE'RE EXPECTING!!!

Well, it seems the Lord will be blessing us with an addition to our family. This is definitely not something that was 'planned'. How often is it?? To say the least, we were shocked when we found out, but how often do you see this coming??

It will probably take some time to adjust to it. We haven't even told the kids yet. We're not sure how they will react to it. Will they be excited? Will they be jealous? Will they be apathetic? I guess only time will tell.

Tricia's REALLY excited, and I'm starting to get there too!! We haven't even begun to talk about how this will change our lives. It's going to be crazy. My mind is racing (if you can't tell by the way i'm writing!!).

The weird thing about this is that UPS's tracking system says that it will arrive this Monday. We were expecting it to get here sooner, but we can be patient.

In my last post, i mentioned that the motherboard on my desktop blew. We started to look at our finances to figure out whether or not we could afford to buy another computer. Well, after selling off most of the desktop parts on eBay and a few other things around the house (plus some money i put aside) i bought another Mac!! Here are some of the specs:

12" Powerbook
80GB HD
Superdrive (burns DVD/CD)
1.5 Mhz
768 MB RAM
Final Cut Pro
Macromedia Studio MX 2004
Adobe Creative Suite Premium
MS Office 2004
and a few other professional apps

To be frank, I'm pretty stoked to get it. Especially because it really didn't cost us much, and b/c Tricia can write off our iBook on our taxes for homeschooling! She'll use the iBook for work and the kids' school stuff, and i'll use the powerbook.

We haven't decided on a name yet. Any suggestions???
